[A - Tamer Union HQ]
There's a new Tamer in town, only he is not immediately distinct from any of the Digimon running around. Torin's taking in his new surroundings fairly calmly--this is probably not the weirdest thing that has happened in his very long life, and he's at ease with his strange new surroundings. Trailing behind him is a Falcomon (variant) who looks absolutely in awe of his new partner. (Look, this absolutely isn't the human type everyone else has been talking about! He's so cool.)

"So," Torin asks him, "where shall we go first?"

[B - The Library]
Torin would like to learn more about the world in which he's found himself, and his and Falcomon's explorations around down have led them to the library. How fortuitous!

Or not, depending on your point of view. Torin's sorting through a sizeable stack of books--which ones to take home, which to flip through here, which to explore some other time--and Falcomon's just not about that egghead life. Falcomon's lying there all but rolling around on the floor and being very, very dramatic. "Torin. Toriiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnn. This is taking foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr."

They've been there for maybe ten minutes.

Wormmon is also not a very studious Digimon. He tries, but details just soar in one antenna and out the other. (Case in point: Ken has posited this is not, in fact, how Wormmon hears. But Wormmon couldn't say.)

Fortunately for them both, Ken-chan is clever enough for the both of them! So if Ken-chan wants to read about the history of this Digital World, Wormmon is going to help. He's been scouring the shelves for books that sound like they might be useful and bringing them to his partner, and he sees one...

Behind these two Digimon! A Falcomon and somemon he doesn't recognize. Wormmon waddles up, hoping they'll be nice and let him through.

"Excuse me."

And he points a nub at the shelf, to indicate where he needs to go.

Wormmon's at least doing better than Falcomon in that he is attempting to help while Falcomon has resigned himself to just die of boredom, this is it, he can see the light, he's still sprawled out very dramatically.

"Hm?" Torin looks up from his stacks of books and at the shorter Digimon who is not making a dramatic scene. "I'd be happy to help, which ones did you need? Or I could give you a lift."

"Oh..." They're going to help? Wormmon hadn't even meant that, this is so NICE! He shuffles, bashful, and streeetches up to point a little more. "History..."

There are, indeed, some history books on this shelf. The fact that they are the history of, say, "The Great Digimon Hopscotch Race" and "Digimon Fashion: An Evolution of Style" does not appear to bother him.

Torin pulls those two books as well as another volume labeled "The History of Digital Macrame" and offers them to Wormmon. "Will these do? Or were you looking for something else?"

Wormmon accepts the books, noticing the extra. He is about to politely point out that was not his pick, but -

Macrame is a handcraft, right? Something people with fingers do for fun? Ken-chan LOVES doing handcrafts! Or well. He LOVES folding origami. Obviously that means he will like this too, not just to learn about this Digital World but for fun.

When he looks up at Torin, holding the books as best he can atop his lil bug nubs, his eyes are wide and shining. "Thank you~!"

"You're quite welcome!" Torin pauses to consider the full implication of those books balanced on lil bug nubs. "Did you want some help bringing those somewhere?"

"I'm okay."

He's not, but apparently....

"It's training to become a tough Digimon!"

...that's the point.
