What: Basically a Catch-All with the new girl! Plus some time at the Digimon Daycare.

[1] New Girl in Town

[ Needless to say, when asked if she wants to save the world, there is very little hesitation from Hibiki in terms of what her answer is. Obviously, she says yes!

Still, even considering the crazy directions her life has gone in, this was a whole new kind of weird. Sunflowmon, Nanomon, and everything they said about Digimon, is a whole new kind of weird. At the very least, she still has her Symphogear pendant... but no way of contacting anyone back home at S.O.N.G.

Still, most of her worries end up being forgotten pretty quickly as she steps outside. ]

WHOA!! It's a city! A huge city!

[ Way different from any other city she's ever seen... plus, if you think about it, isn't she basically taking a trip somewhere else right now? Sure, she's been pretty much around the earth for the sake of missions, but she's never traveled anywhere just for the sake of traveling!

...actually, she's here to save the world, isn't she? Dang, guess that counts as a mission too, she thinks. Still, she doesn't have the chance to lament that thought, because... ]

[ Apparently, this small red creature who she met shortly after arriving... and is apparently her partner

A fact that, apparently, he's not really pleased about, judging by the way he's pouting and crossing his arms. ]

Um, yes?

Are you really my partner?

Aren't you supposed to be the one who knows that—

Because you're so puny and small! I heard that humans are super big and strong, but look at you!

[ So, one, her partner seems to not really be listening for an answer... and two... her partner is super rude!? ]

Hey! Who are you calling puny!? I'm bigger than you, you know!

Yeah! But not by that much! I gotta have a strong partner, y'know!

I'm super strong! Who do you think you are!?

I'm Coronamon! I'm gonna be a cool and strong digimon, so I've gotta have a cool and strong partner too!

[ So... a loud argument right outside the Union HQ... looks like a good start to a partnership, right? ]

[2] Digimon Daycare

[ Despite their... rocky start, evidently it looks like Hibiki and Coronamon are managing to get along, what with Hibiki actually being way stronger than she looks. Plus, as rude as he is, Coronamon has a good head on his shoulders. Wanting to protect smaller Digimon... Hibiki can get behind someone like that.

Speaking of smaller Digimon, THEY'RE ADORABLE?? ]

Uwaaaah!! There are so many of them! And they're all so soft and squishy!!

Gah! Keep it down! You're too loud!!

[ Hibiki is not paying any attention to her partner as she scoops up all of the rambunctious baby Digimon, falling onto her back and laughing loudly as all of the babies start to pile on top of her. ]

Ugaaah!! There's too many of them! I'm going down! Ahaha!

[ Well, she's clearly having fun. ]

[3] Training Montage

[ One thing that she had told Coronamon, is that she's actually super good at fighting! Which is very true, but she's also not mentioned her Symphogear, or even used it yet. Still, she may as well keep in shape, right?

So, there she is, taking a nice run around Access Park. It's pretty nice, actually! Honestly, for a place called the Digital World, the nature sure is nice and refreshing... ]

Hah... hah... not bad, partner!

Ehe! I can keep going, you know!

E-Eh!?

[ It's not intentional, but Hibiki enjoying a nice long jog around the park is evidently also letting herh show Coronamon up, as the small Digimon is starting to look a little fatigued... whereas Hibiki is doing just fine. She's even planning to do a few more exercises before she's done! ]

Wildcard

[ Claims opened up and I immediately zoomed to claim Hibiki... no regrets. In any case, I'm told I can just go ahead and post, so if anybody wants this hi-tech singing magical girl, here's where to do it! Watch an intro log with prompts come up a day after I make this post lmao. [Yoshino just...stared. She didn't change her expression from before at all, the entire time Hibiki was explaining. This all sounded even more unbelievable than Masaru did.

But also, something made her not want to lose to her.]

Ah...that's certainly impressive. But did you read what the Handbook said about the Royal Knights? In our world, Masaru held back Craniummon's spear with just his fist!

[Lalamon sweatdropped. When did this become a contest???]

[ During a period of time in which Hibiki was trying to find something fun and entertaining, she did indeed end up finding the handbook that had mysteriously appeared on her phone along with the Digivice function. She ended up skimming through most of it, but the interesting parts... ]

Whoa, seriously!? But doesn't the Handbook say that he's like, super huge!?

[ Now that's definitely something on Master's level! In that case... ]

Well, I bet that my Master could do that, too! One time, when I was in a pinch, he stepped in front of me and punched so hard the whole road ended up wrecked! [ What else... ooh! ] Ooh! And during that spar I was talking about, he told us to get serious, so my friend Chris-chan shot a bunch of missiles at him... but then he just caught all of them with his hands, bundled them all up, and threw them back!

[ Coronamon is starting to sweat for different reasons, now... what kind of monsters do these girls know!? ]

[Yoshino stared in awe...No! She couldn't let this go! There was no way that she could let Masary down like this!]

That's nothing! Masaru once punched Yggdrasil, the god of the digital world!

[Lalamon looked over at Coronamon, to see if he thought this was getting ridiculous too.]

Gwah...!! Geh, Master can't use a Gear like me or my friends, so he didn't get to fight anyone like that...!

[ Damn, she's being surpassed...! STILL!! She can't just let down her Master like this! Think, Hibiki, think! Oh! She's got it! ]

But! My Master is even stronger than me, and he taught me everything I know! He can't use a Gear, but he taught me how to fight! And he supported us all from the side! So whenever I punched a god, it was a punch on his behalf!

[ Coronamon looks back at Lalamon and nods... this is getting a little crazy, now, and he's not even sure if they're being serious anymore. I mean!? The god of the digital world!? Hibiki's response definitely isn't helping, either. What do you mean you punched a god. Also what happened to keeping things a secret!? ]

Yeah, well, if you had to use this gear thing, then Masaru is definitely ahead of both of you! He did it with just his personal strength and his soul!

[Okay, now is the time to intervene.]

Yoshino, perhaps this is going a bit too far? I'm sure they're both really strong...

We used our souls too! Our gear just let us use the song in our hearts, too!

[ Yep, definitely time to intervene. Coronamon jumps up and bonks Hibiki on the head. ]

Aren't you talking way too much?

[ Hibiki blinks, realizes that Coronamon is right, and... ]

Pff... ahaha...!

[ ...suddenly bursts into a fit of giggles. Now that she's looking back on this, this is all pretty ridiculous, isn't it? ]

[Yoshino blinked at the sight before her...before realization hit her, and she started to laugh too.]

Hahaha...I guess we were getting a bit carried away there, huh?

I'm a little worried about whatever you work for in your world...

[ Man, though! That was a good laugh... she takes a deep breath to calm herself down, smiling wide at Yoshino. ]

I know it's because the world is in danger, but I'm glad we could meet, Yoshino-san!
