What: Basically a Catch-All with the new girl! Plus some time at the Digimon Daycare.

[1] New Girl in Town

[ Needless to say, when asked if she wants to save the world, there is very little hesitation from Hibiki in terms of what her answer is. Obviously, she says yes!

Still, even considering the crazy directions her life has gone in, this was a whole new kind of weird. Sunflowmon, Nanomon, and everything they said about Digimon, is a whole new kind of weird. At the very least, she still has her Symphogear pendant... but no way of contacting anyone back home at S.O.N.G.

Still, most of her worries end up being forgotten pretty quickly as she steps outside. ]

WHOA!! It's a city! A huge city!

[ Way different from any other city she's ever seen... plus, if you think about it, isn't she basically taking a trip somewhere else right now? Sure, she's been pretty much around the earth for the sake of missions, but she's never traveled anywhere just for the sake of traveling!

...actually, she's here to save the world, isn't she? Dang, guess that counts as a mission too, she thinks. Still, she doesn't have the chance to lament that thought, because... ]

Hey.

[ Apparently, this small red creature who she met shortly after arriving... and is apparently her partner

A fact that, apparently, he's not really pleased about, judging by the way he's pouting and crossing his arms. ]

Um, yes?

Are you really my partner?

Aren't you supposed to be the one who knows that—

Because you're so puny and small! I heard that humans are super big and strong, but look at you!

[ So, one, her partner seems to not really be listening for an answer... and two... her partner is super rude!? ]

Hey! Who are you calling puny!? I'm bigger than you, you know!

Yeah! But not by that much! I gotta have a strong partner, y'know!

I'm super strong! Who do you think you are!?

I'm Coronamon! I'm gonna be a cool and strong digimon, so I've gotta have a cool and strong partner too!

[ So... a loud argument right outside the Union HQ... looks like a good start to a partnership, right? ]

[2] Digimon Daycare

[ Despite their... rocky start, evidently it looks like Hibiki and Coronamon are managing to get along, what with Hibiki actually being way stronger than she looks. Plus, as rude as he is, Coronamon has a good head on his shoulders. Wanting to protect smaller Digimon... Hibiki can get behind someone like that.

Speaking of smaller Digimon, THEY'RE ADORABLE?? ]

Uwaaaah!! There are so many of them! And they're all so soft and squishy!!

Gah! Keep it down! You're too loud!!

[ Hibiki is not paying any attention to her partner as she scoops up all of the rambunctious baby Digimon, falling onto her back and laughing loudly as all of the babies start to pile on top of her. ]

Ugaaah!! There's too many of them! I'm going down! Ahaha!

[ Well, she's clearly having fun. ]

[3] Training Montage

[ One thing that she had told Coronamon, is that she's actually super good at fighting! Which is very true, but she's also not mentioned her Symphogear, or even used it yet. Still, she may as well keep in shape, right?

So, there she is, taking a nice run around Access Park. It's pretty nice, actually! Honestly, for a place called the Digital World, the nature sure is nice and refreshing... ]

Hah... hah... not bad, partner!

Ehe! I can keep going, you know!

E-Eh!?

[ It's not intentional, but Hibiki enjoying a nice long jog around the park is evidently also letting herh show Coronamon up, as the small Digimon is starting to look a little fatigued... whereas Hibiki is doing just fine. She's even planning to do a few more exercises before she's done! ]

Wildcard

[ Claims opened up and I immediately zoomed to claim Hibiki... no regrets. In any case, I'm told I can just go ahead and post, so if anybody wants this hi-tech singing magical girl, here's where to do it! [ Though he's immediately letting out a big sigh of relief once they stop, at which point Hibiki bends down to hand him a bottle of water... which he immediately snatches and starts to down all in one go. ]

Yeesh... oh! I haven't introduced myself!

[ She raises a hand out to Yoshino. ]

I'm Hibiki! Tachibana Hibiki! Nice to meet you!

[Yoshino smiled in satisfaction, before turning back to Hibiki.]

It's a pleasure to meet you, Hibiki. I'm Fujieda Yoshino, and this is my partner Lalamon.

Ah! Nice to meet you too, Lalamon! Yoshino-san! My partner is Coronamon, and we've only just met and he's a bit of a handful, but he's got a good heart! I know it!

Hah!? Who are you calling a handful!?

[ For a fiery Digimon, he sure did down three quarters of the water inside that bottle. ]

Heh. [Yoshino smirked.] Partners usually are a handful, whether they're human or Digimon. I should know, Lalamon and I have been together for years.

[Lalamon looked as though she was about to say something before Yoshino stopped her by putting a finger to her mouth.]

Not. One. Word.

Uwah!! Really!? You've been together for years!? I thought everyone met their partners for the first time here! [ A beat. ] Ah! You did mention knowing her since she was 18!

[ Finally, things have clicked together in Hibiki's head. ]

[Yoshino blinked, and then laughed a little.]

It's actually been even longer than that! I've known her since I was a little girl.

[Lalamon nodded, and then offered up the following:]

We come from a world that has its own Digital World with Digimon in it. Different from this one.

[determinationtofist]

Ahh, that long? Wow...

[ They must be super close then, Hibiki thinks. Like childhood friends, even! Man, how fun would it be to have a Digimon friend when you're young? Well, provided they aren't as rude as Coronamon right now. ]

A different world, though...? Like a parallel world thingy?

[ She says, clearly not really understanding what she's talking about. ]

[rosesoul]

Yeah, that's right. [Yoshino nods.] A lot of us are from worlds different from the one you come from. We're not all from the same place.

Ah, yeah I was told something like that! I think I understand...

[ She understands enough, is the point. ]

So you already had Digimon where you're from? Whoa...

[rosesoul]

That's right. [Yoshino nods.] In fact, I was part of an organization that policed Digimon who came to the real world.

Then it got blown up!

[Yoshino about choked, and looked at Lalamon.]

Did you have to say it like that?!

[determinationtofist]

Whoa... a Digimon organization!

[ She thinks of S.O.N.G. at that, and actually, on that thought... ]

Aha... no worries! I'm part of an organization that's been blown up a few times too...

[ In fact! She had to do it one time! Otherwise the moon would've been blown up. ]

[Yoshino's eyes widened.]

Really now? That's...surprising. You don't really seem like the type, honestly.

[Of course, neither did Masaru. But she's keeping that to herself.]

Ehe! I'm full of surprises!

[ She rubs her nose, giggling cheerfully. Should she probably be giggling when she just mentioned bases blowing up? Well, it was never too bad, and they have a submarine now! Maybe there's just not much room in her head for thinking too hard about that. ]

We don't have Digimon where I'm from! But we help out in places all over the world!

[rosesoul]

[Yoshino nods her head.]

I see, I see. That's good then.

...Is your organization okay with you telling me all this?

[DATS had been declassified and made known to the public, in her case. Not much use keeping the Digital World a secret when it literally appeared in the sky, after all.]

Probably, right? I mean, this is a whole different world! Plus, we're all trying to save the world, so there's not much point keeping secrets, right?

[ Very... very sound logic, Hibiki. Well, so long as SONG doesn't find out, right? Right...? ]

[rosesoul]

...I-I see. [Yoshino smiled nervously.] But just to be safe, maybe don't tell me anything else?

[Lalamon, meanwhile, is facepalming.]

Ehhhh? But considering what everyone was telling me when I got here, I dunno if I can keep a lot of this stuff a secret forever...

[ As a Symphogear Wielder... she's kind of... everything but subtle. They were able to get away with it back home thanks to SONG providing cover stories and a bunch of other stuff that frankly made Hibiki's head spin just by thinking about it... but SONG isn't here! The second she has to seriously don her Gear is the moment she gets asked a lot of questions.

And don't worry, Lalamon... Coronamon is also facepalming. ]

[Okay, that's definitely a problem. If even so much as acting would mean giving away secrets, then Yoshino didn't know what she should do.]

I'd say just focus on what you can still keep secret, then. If you can't help revealing something, then that's fine, but don't be eager to just tell everyone whatever you can.

Hm... okay! I can probably do that, at least!

[ Yeah! That works! That makes things a lot simpler, actually. Great! Coronamon is raising an eyebrow at her, though. ]

Shouldn't you have thought of that first on your own?

[Yoshino laughs a bit. She can't help but be reminded of a certain someone.]

You know, you remind me a lot of a friend of mine.

[Lalamon's eyes widened.]

Oh my gosh, you're right! They are really similar...!

[determinationtofist]

[ Hibiki's face lights up. ]

Ah! Really!? Who?

[ If she's like a person who's friends with Yoshino, then that just means that they can definitely become friends! Heck, what is she thinking? She and Yoshino are definitely already friends!

Coronamon, meanwhile... ]

Does your friend have an empty head and a killer punch?

[ ...Coronamon is saying this sarcastically, but... ]

[Yoshino gave Coronamon a look that said she would rather he stopped on this line of thinking, before turning back to Hibiki.]

His name is Daimon Masaru. He called himself Japan's number one banchou...and he was probably the strongest person I ever met. I used to think he was a huge problem, but...he showed me a lot in the time I knew him.

[She laughed a bit.]

But he did have a powerful punch. He was always using it on fully evolved Digimon, even.

Geh...

[ Point made, Ma'am... Coronamon whistles badly, shutting up now. ]

Ahh, he sounds like a great guy! ...Eh!? On a fully evolved Digimon!? Whoa... he sounds like my Master...

[rosesoul]

[Yoshino smirked.]

Does your master take on things no human being should reasonably be able to face? If so, then yeah, I can see how Masaru would remind you of him.

[determinationtofist]

Oh yeah, absolutely! Nobody can beat him in a fight, and he's freakishly strong!

[ She clears her throat, deepening her voice in an imitation of Genjuro's voice. ]

Eat well! Sleep well! And watch Action Movies! To be honest, I don't understand a lot of what he says, but I was able to get as strong as I am because of him!

[ Sometimes a very buff man watches a lot of Action Movies and is therefore able to crush concrete, catch swords with his fingers, and utterly destroy anything and everything.

Except for Noise. Unfortunately, no amount of Action Movies will help you against those if you aren't equipped properly. ]
