Really he doesn't, all of this is completely new to him, and he's just making it up as he goes along, but he can sound like he knows pretty good!
After a long moment, Erichthonios sits right down on the ground. It puts them a little closer to the same height, and doesn't seem to disturb the hem-wearing any that's going on. "I'd like to think if we're brought here on purpose, it's because we can stop it. We just need to figure out how to. You've come across big problems before, right?"
