When he sees the Ancient beckoning he scurries over to him, avoiding the Goblimon by virtue of being near him. He's grateful for the respite - he's already had to glare the Goblimon away from his shiny rapier and gem hanging from his belt. The snoozing Digimon gets a small smile out of him before he turns his attention back to the large man.
"Do you think you can help me get them to knock it off? I can maybe take them, but I don't want to actually hurt them."
Magic doesn't really differentiate 'hurt' versus 'knock out' when it's something like Verthunder.
