As inept as he is with it, he recognizes aether manipulation when he sees it, and the methodology is actually a bit familiar. "Those almost look like the crystals my people use sometimes to inscribe memories and ideas upon," he muses, looking interested. "I never thought to store objects in them. But why not? It's just another matrix, right?"
Makes sense to him. He'd ask to handle it, but .. what would he even get out of such an examination? Such things were beyond his skill. "Sounds like you're a fair bit better prepared for saving worlds than most of us."
