He lowers the gem so it's hovering right above the rapier's hilt, the blade pointing downwards. He feels the aether flow through him and into his weapon - and a bolt of lightning strikes the nearest Goblimon. It's not as strong as it could be, partly due to him not channeling a lot into the spell, but it's enough to make the Digimon stop and jerk, stepping back. "No fair! No one said anythin' about tamers usin' abilities!"

"No one said we couldn't!" He grins at the Digimon.
