[A - Tamer Union HQ]
There's a new Tamer in town, only he is not immediately distinct from any of the Digimon running around. Torin's taking in his new surroundings fairly calmly--this is probably not the weirdest thing that has happened in his very long life, and he's at ease with his strange new surroundings. Trailing behind him is a Falcomon (variant) who looks absolutely in awe of his new partner. (Look, this absolutely isn't the human type everyone else has been talking about! He's so cool.)

"So," Torin asks him, "where shall we go first?"

[B - The Library]
Torin would like to learn more about the world in which he's found himself, and his and Falcomon's explorations around down have led them to the library. How fortuitous!

Or not, depending on your point of view. Torin's sorting through a sizeable stack of books--which ones to take home, which to flip through here, which to explore some other time--and Falcomon's just not about that egghead life. Falcomon's lying there all but rolling around on the floor and being very, very dramatic. "Torin. Toriiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnn. This is taking foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr."

They've been there for maybe ten minutes.

Lena is at the library, looking around for ideas for future lessons she will be teaching to the baby Digimon at the nursery for the next incoming weeks. She wants to be prepared and have the lessons done real soon. Lunamon is also tagging along to help her, checking around for books and other learning materials while walking by her side.

The Greek blooded lady is reading a book on ancient (human) art when she overhears somebody talking from a few bookcases away. Curious of where the voice is coming from, Lena tries to follow it and Lunamon scurries along with her partner. By the time they arrive, they see two bird like individuals, a bird Digimon and another larger and more humanoid. It didn’t fazed Lena that much anymore: she has been in Access City for quite a while now that she has gotten used to see plenty of non-humans these days.

Falcomon's still being the height of dramatic here. "Tooooriiiin we've been here foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr."

"Now, I could be wrong, but I've hardly been in this world for a couple of hours," Torin points out calmly. "And we've only been here for a few minutes." He's millions of years old, this is nothing.

They still haven't noticed they're being watched.

For a while, both Lena and Lunamon didn’t say a word as they look at the two bird like individuals, unsure of what to say to them. The human could tell that she hasn’t seen the larger bird before, so she assumed that he might be a newcomer to the Digital World. It seems as if the art lessons are placed at the back burner for the time being as both partners are paying attention to the two individuals.

She still has the book within her hands, though the way she is holding onto it looks like it could fall from them onto the floor at any time.

They actually catch Torin's attention, and he looks up from the book he's examining. "Oh, hello. Did you need help with anything?"

"I need help," Falcomon moans, "I'm dying of boredom."

"It's been ten minutes."

“Well, I was in the middle of doing some research for art lessons I am going to give to young Digimon at the nursery I work for,” Lena explains herself to Torin, “So I was wondering if you can help me and Lunamon in trying to find some stuff for us to look into.”

“Please pardon us interrupting your reading, dear sir. We didn’t mean to barge in,” Lunamon apologizes to him with a polite bow.

This is going to make things take so much longer whyyyyy... Falcomon is fortunately keeping his beak shut but he very dramatically shifts the position of his dramatic despairing flop.

"Oh, it's no trouble," Torin says pleasantly, "we haven't been here long, anyway. And perhaps we could find something for Falcomon to read in the children's books, as well." Which might cut down on the dramatics. It's a solid plan.

It is a good thing that Lena is more than happy to help as she has been visiting the library with Lunamon ever since she started working as an art teacher at the Access City nursery. Lunamon also nods in agreement as well.

“There is a good selection at the children’s section, I have seen plenty of books made for younger Digimon that Falcomon can read,” Lena replies to Torin, “Both me and Lunamon can recommend many children’s books for you to look into.”

"Ah, thank you! We would appreciate that." Torin's standing up and very gently hauling Falcomon to his feet. "Come on, then, Falcomon, let's get you set up with something."

"Something exciting?" Falcomon asks hopefully.

“Yes, we are going to find something very interesting to find in the children’s section,” Lena replies to Falcomon’s question, “I am sure that you’ll be able to find something you’ll like while searching in there.”

“There are plenty of cooks to choose from and I could talk about the many selections to be found in there. Lena-san must have visited it many times by now,” Lunamon also chimes in.
