It gives Themis a lot to think about. Though he remains gentle in his guidance of the baby digimon, the Amaurotine listens intently to Taiki's description of the state of wordly affairs before the message had arrived. It's certainly food for thought and troubling to think their world might have underwent the beginning of unusual calamities.
"I suppose it's possible to not have been aware of the outside changes from where Erichthonios and I were at the time." The wards of Pandaemonium, besides needing to focus on upkeep, were likely keeping them isolated from the full effect of these events.
"Though it may be an explanation as to why the strain on the wards had intensified." Maybe. It isn't in Themis's nature to trust what seems to be the surface of possibility. But always to dig deeper and find out the whole picture before drawing a conclusion. It's worth putting to consideration however.
The giant's expression clears and he looks down at Taiki with a pleasant smile and a nod of agreement. "I suppose you wouldn't, given your creator's own nature. I admit some concern from your retelling. Though I'm sure the Convocation of Fourteen will be working to address the problem while we're away and taking care of matters here."
If Themis worries that this onset of disasters would leave the matter of Pandaemonium untended, it doesn't show. He can only trust that the message he sent reporting of events before he'd received the summons to the Digital World had been received by his friend.
"Hey guys." Elecmon pipes up. "I know this is important to talk about it, but does it need to be right now?" the digimon shakes her head before pointing to some of the baby digimon who have stopped to listen to the story being shared between the two. They look wide-eyed. Granted it's too early to tell if the story's fascinating them or setting them up for nightmares, but Elecmon's concern is probably justified.
